In true girl fashion, we overpacked just a tad :)

Sainte-Chapelle

Hope everyone is having a great week! As you can imagine, I took an excess amount of photos in Paris so figured I'd share a few more of my favorites today! That and I'm secretly wishing I was still there strolling the city streets and drinking copious amounts of wine :) In other news, feels like Spring is just around the corner. Sun is out in New York today! Looking forward to some St. Patty's Day festivities this weekend and doing a little spring shopping! xx

Paris With Love

Couldn't get enough of all the street side cafes! This one was near our apartment in Le Marais, the cutest district in all of Paris, in my opinion :)

Photo shoot fun at the Eiffel Tower wearing a Joie jacket, J.Crew pants, TopShop kicks, blouse from Think Closet, and a scarf from Mint Julep in the LES

Loved all the brightly painted shops and restaurants!

The best salad I've ever had in my life at the cutest restaurant near the Eiffel Tour called Les Cocottes!

Champagne toast on our first day at the very chic and Parisian Cafe St. Regis on Il St. Louis

My fabulously stylish and adorable travel buddy wearing a dress from Coup de Coeur in NYC

The best meal of my whole life, seriously! I have a tendency to say that a lot but this really was! Steak rib eye, potatoes, salad, and red wine. Heaven on a plate at Robert + Louise on Rue Vielle de Temple.

Finally getting back into the {blogging} swing of things after my trip to Paris. While we were only there 5 days, it felt like a month because we were on-the-go the whole time and fit in so much exploring, dining, shopping, and site seeing! We must have walked at least 5 miles every day which made me feel not as bad about the endless food and wine indulgences :)

As you can imagine, both my girlfriend and I over packed to the max, but once we got there and realized how cold it was and how much we would be walking, we opted for casual and comfy outfits. Wish I could say I looked as fancy as the fabulous Parisian women but it just wasn't the case. They were sure fun to gaze at though :) More photos to come!

Paris!

I'm off to Paris today with one of my best friends and travel buddies since college. We're staying in La Marais which is the historical district of Paris and known for its amazing restaurants and boutiques and is often compared to the West Village in New York. Needless to say I couldn't be more excited! Both of us have been before so this time around, we're excited to explore some new areas and activities we didn't get to in previous visits. It's supposed to pretty cold over there right now so I have my suitcase packed to the brim with chunky knits, jackets, hats, and scarves!

On our long list of things to do is renting bike and visiting Lover's Locks Bridge and riding through Notre Dame, going to farmer's markets-- one of which being Porte de Vanves, dining at the famous steak/frites restaurant Le Relais de l'Entrecote, exploring Ile Saint Louis, and indulging in copious amounts of wine and baguettes! Excited to share photos some of the great spots we visit! xx

{Spring Cravings}

Happy Friday! I know I might be getting a little ahead of myself but with 30 degree temps in New York right now, I can't help but dream of spring time and wearing anything other than my puffer, scarf, and beanie. I think all three are goin in the trash after this winter ;) Was browsing some spring looks last night and thought I'd share some I'm currently craving!

Boyfriend Chic

Although I packed enough for a full week, on my 4th day down in DC I was sick of the clothes I brought out of clothes and decided to raid my boyfriend's closet for somethin to wear. I decided on this fabulously cozy plaid shirt, which happens to have been a Christmas present from me :) I guess I should have just bought one for myself too! In general, I love the idea of a tomboy feminine outfit mix and in this case, I wanted to not only stay warm but also dress down an otherwise fancy look.

The Look:
Plaid shirt: Ben Sherman (holidays)
Tube top: Parker (recent)
Pants: J.Crew (recent)
Necklace: Nordstrom (holidays)
Beanie: Free People (old but similar here)

Simplicity

Hope everyone had a good weekend! I spent the long weekend down in DC visiting my boyfriend. From cozy movie nights to touring the monuments and dining in Georgetown to a day trip out to the country, it was the perfect weekend. Now, back to reality and a busy work week! As someone who usually throws on a ton of layers, accessories, and bright colors, I've been recently trying to incorporate more simple and sophisticated looks, and what better way to do so than with skinnys, a blouse, and pumps!

The Look:
Blouse: Vintage (Think Closet NYC)
Pants: J.Crew
Pumps: Coach
Purse: Rebecca Minkoff
Ring: Blessed Peacemakers
Watch: Michele
