Since moving to New York, my style has definitely evolved, mainly in the color category. I've noticed my closet shift from bright colors and prints to mainly brown, grey, and black tones, especially in the winter. While it is a bit more boring, it definitely gives off more of a sleek and sophisticated look, perfect for the professional world (not to mention being more flattering and forgiving :)) If I am going for an all black ensemble, however, I always make sure to incorporate pops of color to brighten it up a bit. In this case, this adorable beaded necklace from J.Crew was the answer!
So happy it's already Thursday! Excited for a relaxing weekend to clean and get my life organized post holiday craziness. First step, purge my room of excess clothes and accessories!
